Garfelt EP

Fever, simmering inside. Anxiety taking me for a ride. I wanna be myself not feel hateful eyes, Just live my life no posturing lies. But if you think I'll be your punching bag or I'll be tame You're wrong I'll slit your throat. Yes, us queers have an agenda, make the world a better place For all not just for cishet white men. They say we rub it in their face. We're just trying to be but they're shrinking out space. Speaking of shrunk space check your vulnerability, Afraid to show your loved ones you love em, cause you won't change. And if you fear showing emotions, specially if a man Or assigned male at birth You're the biggest problem: racist, homophobic, sexist fools who lick the boots of the capitalist man. Decisions made, All boundaries set, Not open to people who'll hurt me Not living life Just to appease. Cause my happiness means more than your comfort now. Fuck off if you think that I should change, Just cause you don't like the way I address, Projecting your insecurity, Just a hateful mess Dogmatic and victim-blaming lies, Rape apologists who trivialize, Trauma that they cannot comprehend Cause they don't even try. My existence's not a provocation unless you're hateful and living in fear False morality through religion if you really walked the walk You'd not be ignorant capitalists.

about

Thanks to Drew Laughner for the art, Ben Woolgar for the mastering, and Louis Imperiale for the trumpet on track 2.

Just a few fun lil tracks before my (musically unrelated) album.

___________________________________________________________
The first is about being oneself - especially one's queer and trans (nonbinary in my case) self - in the face of an ignorant and difficult world.

The second is goofy, sped up madness featuring Louis Imperiale on trumpet.

Lyrics and other details on each individual track.
