Am I just faking everything just to show myself as some other’s dream? I don’t mean love but shallow culture’s dreams tell me “live like this” but that’s killing me. Put on faces will one mask stick and I’ll soon be broken torn at the seams. Breaking down, woah just for the moment but is it deeper, not just a meme? Try to feign what, oh what I think, that these people will want from me? Am I drowning outside myself or am I just protecting the real me? No more drinking I’m through pretending I hate myself cause I’m not that green, It’s not that simple just what I need right now is someone who’s already me. No more friction with what I can’t change, just float on forward don’t part the sea. Life could change if we recognize that that world we live in could still be free. See that this world is shallow, wonder if, I’m becoming a part of it all? Say you care but don’t ask how I’m feeling and I still complain but don’t try to reveal it. Sometimes feel I’m floating through this life without a goal, Got to find a way to feed my mind and feed my soul. Fake it all for money for a dream we’ve all been told, Happiness eludes us and this lie will take its toll. Hold me in your cubicle to watch your profits grow, Waste our minds our passions till we’ve nothing left to show. Life is good I’m just feeling down oh and sometimes, can change everything there’s no telling, Feeling is something that’s more than a word so don’t be scared, when these feelings are overwhelming. Melancholy but somehow high above the ground, and soon we’ll be buying what you’re selling.

Come on over, ya know I’ve got my head in the clouds. Still repressing, everything that’s gotten me down, Cause I ain’t got time for that, Like Smokey, hide behind the tears of a clown, I’m feeling something is wrong, or is that just the cold? That’s got me Still crying, thinking bout how we put her down, Or all the people, I knew before they went in the ground, Feels so trivial. Write a post, go back home and make all the rounds, Go through the motions again. When, will this feeling end? I hope it’s seasonal. Felt just one step away, Now it’s not reachable. How can we live when our world’s so material, but we could use some ethereal, to start all over again? Can explain it, I’m feeling like I’m losing myself, And if I’m happy, is it just an act for my health? Overthinking now. And then it’s over, another morning start off anew, It’s like we’re living a game; It’s getting old but got to keep going. When, will this feeling end? I hope it’s seasonal. Felt just one step away, Now it’s not reachable. How can we live when our world’s so material, but we could use some ethereal, to start all over again?

I see you coming my way Just try to chill and play it cool Already made up your mind. It’s time to play another fool She’s got another I saw it with my own eyes She’s got another I thought I was something new They tried to warn me Truth is don’t really care They tried to warn me The truth is I already knew Ain’t go no time for fun and games “Don’t mean she aint running one herself” Insecurity run through our heads no, it’s not her fault Just that social engineering, we all fuck around, round in circles So keep on pulling on those strings Don’t let nobody tell you chill Go be whoever you would be You’ve just got one life no standing still

Stuck in this limbo of life (find our way) How can we grow when surrounded by hate Redline out your ignorance, privilege your stay Don’t try to tell me who belongs it’s not your fate How could we ever be sure? That is wasn’t a game? That there’d be a home we could find. Caged in by the world around and when we try To subvert the old ways, we become stigmatized Stuck in this limbo of life (find our way) How can we grow when surrounded by hate Redline out your ignorance, privilege your stay Don’t try to tell me who belongs it’s not your fate And politicians, waste away and only decide what should come of our fate When their own interests’ in mind It’s high time that we change this world around for us all So tired of living this way- Stuck within archaic lines “Where did ya come from?” Go and ask the same of yourself And it is really the same, when we’re all on stolen. So tired of a world that tells our true selves to hide And few still profit of all, and demonize all who don’t stand Got no more feelings inside, just our heads Came here to find a new life, still face threats Trying to find a better place, but caught in this web If half these people had their way we’d all be dead Stuck in this limbo of life (find our way) How can we grow when surrounded by hate Redline out your ignorance, privilege your stay Don’t try to tell me who belongs it’s not your fate

Come on down to Home Depot We extract raw materials with our bare hands and build toilet seats, sinks, plumbing equipment, yeah we’re men, we’re tough, we’re masculine, yeah we like to build shit! Come on down, we’re men, we also love cars, we love classic rock, sexism, treating people like shit and repressing our childhood trauma, yaa Come on down to posturing, overcompensation, repressing homosexuality through homophobia We love guns! We love country music! We love fucking our cousins! We love fucking our cars! We love bullshit, ya! Come on down to fake patriotism, if you kneel for the flag you’re not welcome here, our ancestors didn’t come from Europe or anything, what? We also love the police cause we love power tripping, we’re afraid of people infringing on our already incredible amount of privilege, we’re scared of other people having as much privilege as us. You can’t have our advantages we just wanna keep thumping our bibles, fucking our cousins, supporting imperialist foreign policy, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, repressing (oppressing) folks All we fucking care about are profits, ya money money money! Cars, masculinity, yeah! We’re scared of women in charge, we’re scared of POC, we’re scared of diversity, we’re scared of reality Don’t say you’re a man if you haven’t loved your car, and I mean you gotta fuck your car, we’re men we fuck our cars and play classic rock! We love patriotism, we love imperialism, we love going to other countries taking their resources implementing (installing) governments who support our economic interests we don’t give a fuck. We’re just entitled stupid fucking pieces of shit, yeah!
